THE SMALL JOBS DESERVE ATTENTION

Small Repairs.
Lasting Protection.

From damaged bricks and tired mortar joints to loose coping stones and garden wall repairs, we take care of the details that keep your home protected and looking it's best.

Damaged Brick Replacement

Spalled, blown, cracked or frost-damaged bricks can spoil the appearance of your property. We carefully remove and replace damaged bricks, matching the existing size, colour and texture as closely as possible for a tidy finish.

Repointing & Mortar Repairs

Missing or crumbling mortar joints can leave brickwork exposed to water penetration and further deterioration. We remove defective mortar and repoint affected areas using a suitable mortar and joint finish to complement your existing brickwork.

Garden & Boundary Wall Repairs

From loose bricks to damaged sections and broken wall ends, we carry out small repairs to garden and boundary walls. Our work restores damaged areas and helps keep your outdoor space looking well maintained.

Brick Pillar Repairs

We repair brick pillars affected by damaged bricks, deteriorating mortar or loose tops. Whether it’s a garden entrance or a gate pillar, we can replace individual bricks, rebuild damaged sections and rebed or replace pillar caps.

Coping Stones & Wall Tops

Loose, cracked or missing copings can allow water into the brickwork beneath. We rebed and replace coping stones, repair joints and restore brick-on-edge wall tops to provide a secure, neat finish.

Brick Steps, Sills & Making Good

We repair damaged brick steps and window sills, replace broken air bricks and make good small areas of brickwork. This includes filling redundant openings and repairing around pipes, vents, windows and doors, with materials matched as closely as possible.

Practical skills. An organised approach.

Your home matters. So does who works on it.

I’ve long had a passion for construction, which led me to complete a Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying over two years of evening study, from 2022-2024.

My background includes time spent as an RAF logistics officer and twenty years running my own corporate events business, which I continue to run. Those experiences have shaped how I work: careful planning, clear communication and seeing a job through from start to finish.

BrickFix brings together my interest in construction, practical bricklaying training and years of experience working with customers.

2

Agree the details

We discuss suitability, access and materials. If a visit is needed, we agree a time and turn up. We also agree when you’ll receive your written quote.

3

Book the work

Once the scope and price are agreed, we arrange a suitable date and explain what to expect.

A few useful answers

Before you enquire.

Is my job too small?

Small repairs are the focus of this service. Send a description of the work; suitability and a minimum job price will be discussed before booking.

Can you give a price from photos?

Photos can help with an initial assessment. Access, the condition of the wall and material matching may require a visit before a firm quotation.

Will the repair match the existing wall?

Matching will be discussed beforehand. Weathering and the availability of bricks or mortar mean a perfect visual match cannot always be achieved.

Do you repair cracked or leaning walls?

Movement or instability needs assessment before a repair is proposed. Structural repairs, retaining walls, chimneys and work at height are outside the initial service.

Do you work on older or listed properties?

Older masonry can need specialist materials and methods. These enquiries are assessed individually; heritage work may need a specialist and appropriate permissions.
